How model?

NOTE: THIS IS MAINLY A QUESTION ABOUT MODELING FOR SFM, BUT IF THERE IS A WAY TO MODEL SAFELY FOR BOTH SFM AND GMOD THEN I'M ALL EARS! So, let's just say I'm an ambitious fellow and I want a bit of a custom model that hits a bit close to home. How could I build a model from the ground up, polish it off with textures (preferably ones I've made myself), as well as adding joints and any necessary riggings, and then stuff it all in a neat little .zip I might be able to use to share later down the line.* And look: I know modelling isn't easy. I'm not looking to make this thing over night. I'd like to know of any basic programs that are preferably free and compatible to use with SFM. You don't need to tell me how to use it, that's what Youtube's for. I'd just like to know of the programs any of you out there might use for your devient little arts out there. I also to wish know of any programs out there that are also used for making textures as well as hair, if said program doesn't already come tied to the modeling one. Any help with adding different skins would be much appreciated as well! And lastly, I would love to learn the awesome way of the Rigger. From jiggles to flexes to hair and to body groups, I want to know it all! If anyone out there in the metaverse knows of some way to help, even something as small as, "download this and then do this" it would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your time. ~nonoon *Just know, I'm making this model off someone in my own life. And no, I'm not a creep. It's my girlfriend of (almost) three years and I want to surprise her with this little goodie on our anniversary. She's completely into this type of thing and would love it. Hell, she even uses this account sometimes. But I will only give it away with her consent. She's a fair woman, but if she doesn't want her pixelated image on the weird part of the internet then I can't blame her.

Download Blender. It does everything you want, and it's free. Will take you a while to learn how to use it though, so don't expect to have a human body + face modeled within a week. For texturing you can use the GIMP. There's tons of tutorials on how to use these programs, so I'm sure you can figure it out.

And when you inevitably break up, you can post the images and model to get back at her. Yeah, we know how it works.

You should model a dick onto her face as an April Fools prank. :D
