Iconverted some nude XNA Models to GMOD/SFM...

Adding $translucent 1 or $alphatest 1 to pl0500_02eyelash_BM.vmt will fix the eyelashes. I recommend doing the same for the hair. Add some $phong to the skin as well:

Hello Guys, I'm converting some models (Sherry Birkin Nude RE6 as of now) from XNALARA to GMOD/SFM but I may need your help in creating bones in it. This is my current code to the eyelashes: "VertexlitGeneric" { "$basetexture" "models/resident_evil/pl0500_02eyelash_BM" "$bumpmap" "models/resident_evil/pl0500_02eyelash_NM" } what would be the final output code? could you edit the code pls so that I'll just copy paste it if you don't mind :)

Just a heads up, I have that model almost finished for SFM. If you want to create your own version, that's no problem of course ^^ I'm just telling you in case there are other models you would rather spend the time on converting. There is just a small issue with the weight mapping for the thighs and fingers and I also need to fix some texture seams, but other than that she's done pretty much.

ADA WONG RE6(NUDE) By the way, if you're too lazy converting XNA to GMOD/SFM, I'd be happy to help, it would save you so much time for fix some stuffs. I could only convert files(XNA->GMOD/SFM), and IK rig, and animate. I still don't know how put bones :(

Yep, well the breasts have jigglebones. The butt will as well, but only after I fix the weightmaps for the thighs (since that's around the same area).

What do you mean "how to put bones"? How are you converting them? I use a script to load the XNALara models into 3DSmax and that preserves the bones of the XNALara model. I then just transfer weights of the bones I don't want, to bones I want to keep and then remove the ones without weight. Creating a new bone structure is a lot more work in my opinion.

I see you'll just preserve the bones, silly me... lemme rephrase my msg, All I'm sayin is that I could only convert them like you do (XNA -> SOURCE), still doesn't know how to touch those bone things and weight stuffs that you mentioned

Selph, what bones are you removing? I would recommend that you preserve all of the twist/fix bones, because they are exceptionally useful when posing modes into less forgiving poses. I'm not sure what bones you remove, so I don't know if you already preserve them or not. Just pointing it out in the event that you do not. :).

I'm actually planning on doing that with future models. This model however had some terrible weight maps around the thighs and when I started working on it (which was quite some time ago), I actually didn't understand how the weight mapping worked for those bones (so I just removed them :P ). I'll consider adding them back in for the arms. However the thighs have been giving me such a headache that now that they work decently, I'm not going to touch them anymore (basically the deformation in 3DSmax doesn't translate properly into SFM for the thigh bones for some reason).
