New animation! I spent a while on this one but I think it came out pretty well. The lighting is a little out-of-whack due to SFM only allowing 8 shadowed lights, not really sure how to get around that. Traynor Gets Technical:

Yeah the jigglebones act kinda wonky sometimes, I'm still trying to figure out how to get them to have fluid motion.

Biggest key to well-behaved jigglebones is well-behaved trunk motion. If your jigglebones are moving around unnaturally, then your trunk is probably moving around unnaturally as well. I tend to use jigglebones as a way to gauge how the body should be moving. Try adjusting the trunk motion until the jigglebones look right - chances are, you'll find the trunk motion itself is pretty solid. Another recommendation I have is to cycle your animation a few times before you start rendering. So, say your animation will have 3 cycles of animation - have your animation repeat 6 times, and then only fix up the last 3 cycles, with baking the jigglebones and applying Playhead for the sake of looping, etc. The reason for cycling the animation a few times is to get the jigglebones having that built up velocity, so the looping seems more natural. A third recommendation, to help with trunk-motion, is to keep in mind the fact that humans have a tendency to unconsciously gravitate toward two things: keeping the focus-line of their eyes in the same place (the midpoint between the two eyes, right along the bridge of the nose), and keeping their head straight-up. When you're animating trunk motion, like your second Liara animation, try to rotate the spines to keep her head in about the same place. If it moves a little bit, it's okay, but too much and starts to look odd. You'll find that not only does it look less uncanny that way, but the jigglebones will tend to behave themselves better.

New animation! not sure if this qualifies as finished yet but I'm throwing it up on the tumblr anyway. If anyone has feedback that would be great. Also thanks to Lord Aardvark's pre-baking suggesting, my light flash problems are gone as well, they only seemed to appear for the first frame of each animation.

Nice animations so far, fornax. I have some friendly feedback that you can (hopefully) use to improve. I don't know about your experience in animating in general, so if some of this sounds too difficult you can perhaps just have it in mind when working. :) 1. This might be my personal taste/opinion, but animations just look better with organic, natural body movements. If you really want to take animation to the next step, you should think about how the body would move in certain situations. The different parts of the body is rarely inactive when doing physical stuff, especially sex. Everything moves, even just a little bit or for a short time. Think about the force from the guy that gets transferred into the girl as he thrusts into her - the harder the thrust, the bigger jolt will go through her body causing pretty much every body part to move. This feeling of force and "cause and effect" is very good to integrate into your animation. I can see that you actually have the idea of this in your animations, but the "jolt effect" and butt jiggle don't match up with the speed of the guy/dildo thrusting. 2. Short animations can quickly become robotic to look at, especially if the model have pretty much the same expression all the time, or if the facial expressions happen too fast. A thing you could do to avoid this, is to maintain constant facial changes, don't have to be major, even subtle changes will do. Pretty much don't allow the face to have the same look at any time - keep the mouth moving with a smile, open/closed, bited lip, etc. Play with the eyebrows as these are a very strong indicator of the mood for a person. Lowered eyelids gives a very sensual look, this you can use as well. Or you can stretch out subtle expressions over the entire animation to make it more slow and realistic - like you have already done well in some of your animations. I better stop here, sorry for wall of text but I hope you can use some of it! Keep posting!

I have redone one of my Liara animations taking into account input from this thread. I will go back and redo all of them if I feel like it/have time. Opinions? I have also started to stretch the model a bit by moving some of the bones around, to get rid of the mesh clipping in on itself (this really bothered me). With some sneaky camera placement its barely noticeable.

New animation! I did a reskin of plasmid's nude Tali'zorah. I thought the grey skin needed a bit of color and I added a couple extra things. So here's a new animation with it. I can release the modified skin if someone will teach me how to add a new skin to a model (the one I made would overwrite the current grey skin). Apparently pomf.se is rather rude when it comes to bandwidth space... edited for smaller animation.
