I keep having this little issue in SFM where the character's eyes blink open for the first frame or two. Only happens when I want to have the eyes closed for the whole animation. I've tried everything I can think of to stop it from happening. It just looks horrible. Like I said, the eyes flip open for a split second. Any ideas?

It's a problem with the first frame of any animation in SFM having default values set on models for flexes and procedural bones. I would suggest you simply bump your whole animation up by one second, and then render a half a second of nothing before the actual animation starts.
