For experiments/first works with the camera, those came out quite nice and interesting.
I'd recommend now working on animating models so that they move with more expression and body language, not so stoney.
As far as making gifs, there's some free conversion programs floating out there. I think the consensus is to use naughtymachinima.com for hosting videos.
