Hey everyone. I've just noticed how bored I was and I used to really love the internet because it was like the utlimate technology. The internet to me is like an alternate reality like gta, it's like a parody of real life and you take no consequences for your actions. Back then, I'd troll in games like tf2/l4d/minecraft. Watch machinimas like gamer poop, arby n the chief, red vs blue (really good story even before the hq animations) little kids getting trolled, trolled on xbox live, all got boring. i mean i liked happy tree friends, family guy ,south park, i feel like ive drained the essence from the internet, so there's nothing left for me. Play games, but recently I just can't find much to do. School's coming soon and I can't find anything to watch. I've heard of breaking bad/the walking dead, just never watched it cuz I'm like anti-american like that. lol. Most games just seem repetitive to me. I keep on getting this feeling like "Been there, done that". Just can't find anything to do :( Anyone have any fun stuff to do every day they come home?

It still is the most amazing technology on this planet. It is connecting millions of people all over the globe to eachother, or vast repositories of information that they can use to learn new skills, be entertained or to generally improve their lives. And surprise: the internet and the people on it are just as real as the offline world. Always has been. And for that reason you should know that when you troll someone in an online game, you are still ruining the fun of a real human being. Something you probably don't want other people to do to you. If you're one of these people who goes around trolling people, messing with their fun, messing with their lives in a negative way, I'm going to call you a terrible person. Because you are.

I doubt you've really seen everything there is to see, done everything there is to do in life. You are on the internet. If you can't find anything to do, you're really not looking very hard. In fact you might as well be blind.

Yeah man, you're really sticking it to those american bastards! So avant-garde! So edgy! Good on you! Seriously, get your head out of your ass. If you were going to watch any of those shows, you were going to pirate these shows anyway. The way you're expressing your opinion about America really makes you sound like a pretentious teenager. You're really not making a difference. Especially if all you're doing is not watching Breaking Bad or the Walking Dead. Also, watching South Park, Family Guy and Happy Tree Friends (all of them US produced series), makes you kind of a hypocrite.

I think I've already had this discussion with you in that other thread. Videogames, especially within the same genres, will always share common characteristics because games, series and the entire industry evolve in iterations. Be it game mechanics, story elements or other things. Many games you love stand on the shoulders of games that came before them. As a result you will never find a game that is truly unique. And that's just one reason why many games are repetitive. Some games artificially inflate content size by re-using previous missions or quests in order to keep you playing/invested in the game for longer than you otherwise would. Others put in a lot of boring repetitive padding because they want to sell you XP packages that allow you to skip that content. But despite all that, these games are diverse enough to keep millions of people playing. Except you. You are special. Because you have played all of them and discarded all of them as repetitive.

We live in an amazing time. Knowledge at your fingertips. The tools for fixing all that is wrong in this world in your hands. We have the means to entertain, share knowledge and help others in need. We are exploring new worlds. We're learning things about planets millions of kilometers away. We're exploring the deepest depths of the ocean. We're discovering species we never knew existed? Technology allows us all to do so much! It allows us to find fulfilling in our lives so much easier than any generation before us. And yet you say "Been there, done that." You liked the time when you could troll people without consequences. You've seen it all. Nothing feels fresh. You're bored of life. Nothing's worth doing. Here's something I tell myself when I feel bored: "As long as there are problems in this world, there are things for me to do." To me, there's always something to do. Everyday is a new opportunity to fix what is wrong. I suggest that when you wake up tomorrow, you do at least one big thing that you've never done before. Help someone in need, go outside, I don't know. As long as it means something to you. Or just kill yourself. I don't care. I'm locking this thread as it falls in line with your previous terrible terrible pretentious threads. If you're looking for some games to play on a slow day, refer to this thread or that abominable thread you made a few months ago.
