"raptor4d4" said ...You can tear off any part of the SFM interface and drag it to a different location. If you can't see where your secondary viewport is, you can hit Windows > Secondary Viewport to bring it to front.
I'm having two issues with the SFM. First, everyone and the tutorials suggest I activate the split screen function so I can pose from two angles. As far as I can tell the split screen should be active yet I still have only one screen.

Second, I downloaded a bunch of maps for the SFM. Only one is working properly. Most of them the walls are pink, I see wire frames and the word "Error" is floating everywhere. I copied all the .bsp files into the maps folder so I don't understand what is wrong.

I went to Windows > Secondary Viewport and it brought up a small window. How do you have this window and the primary window side-by-side on the screen?
