Using SFM with a 4:3 monitor

Whenever I use SFM with my new PC, the resolution in the viewport rapidly flashes and zooms in and out whenever I pan or rotate the view. Is this a problem with my 4:3 monitor? What can I do to fix it until I get a new monitor? I have an intel i5 4570 and a radeon 7870 ghz, so it's probably not an issue with my video card. Thanks, Grey

I don't think aspect ratio should result in your viewport bugging out. I would usually assume it's a graphics card issue, but your hardware seems relatively new. Maybe update your drivers?

I'm using the latest beta catalyst drivers, so I don't think that's the issue. I'll go ahead and update them though. I really hope I can get it to work.

The only way to see if it's an issue with the 4:3 aspect ratio would be to test SFM at a 16:9 resolution. Try setting your aspect ratio to 16:9 to see if that does anything. Maybe try hooking up a 16:9 monitor to see if that solves it. If it keeps exhibiting the same issues with both of those, it's probably related to your graphics card, drivers or video settings.

Fixed my problem. PSA: Don't use Radeon Pro if you use SFM
