I wish my first post was not under such circumstances, but alas. I only picked up SFM upon finding this site, but I managed to get some models and rigs working. However, when I reopened the files to try and make a gif out of it and get some feedback, I found that my animation looked like this: [spoiler:16s4ktav][/spoiler:16s4ktav] I'm not sure what it is that's acting up. The rig still moves the respecting limbs, but there's that huge offset that came out of nowhere. I tried detaching and reattaching the rig, but no dice. Searching both here and on google didn't bear much result, either. Hopefully it's not something obvious and I'm just making an idiot of myself here. Regardless, any input is appreciated.

Did you use the scale feature to resize any parts of the model perhaps?

I'm afraid not! I worked with the models in the size they were when I imported them. I'm trying to recall doing anything out of the ordinary, but really all I did was attach the rig that came with the model and move the model a bit using the rootTransform node before posing it.

Locked any bones by accident and started moving others?

Did you redownload and overwrite the model files perhaps? I had the same problem when I was testing the new Femshep model that Selph was doing for me, every new version broke the scene I was working on.

I'm fairly certain I didn't overwrite the model I was working with at any point. I also don't remember locking anything, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that so I guess I might have done it by accident. At any rate, I ran a test. I made a new scene with the same argonian model that got messed up on the other scene. First I saved with the model on T-pose and a light. It still worked when I opened it. Then I posed it, saved and re-opened. Still worked. Then I added some animation, saved it, and restarted SFM to see if that might make a difference. Still worked. Things seem to point towards me doing something that messed it up. No idea what. Thanks for your input, by the by, I really appreciate it.

Upon further messing around I found that right-clicking felicia's model on the Animation Set Editor and going to Utilities > Reattach to model pretty much fixed it! So, that's good news. And yet when I tried it with my argonian's animation, it completely dettached it from the IK rig, back to the regular rig which was still in the T-pose.
