How do I save images?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to save images from scenes that I've made in source filmmaker (from just posing models). I go to File-Export-Image, and when I try to save the image under the title of "screenshots", I can't find the file anywhere on my computer. And please don't just give a link to some stupid Youtube video, those videos rarely ever explain anything clearly.

When you export the image, they should be saving in the renders folder. For me it's: Program files x86 - steam - steam apps - common - sourcefilmmaker - game - usermod - elements - renders. It's automatic when exporting. Are you changing the location?

I don't believe I'm changing the location. But when I went to renders it said there was a poster file there, but I couldn't open it (windows can't open this file), any suggestions on that?
You can only open TGA files using the GIMP or Photoshop. You can use either of those programs to re-save them as PNG or JPG files.
