MMD and The Community's Opinion on Anime-Style 3D Models

As the stresses of life are slowly diminishing for me, I'm hoping to return soon and resume making poses. However, I came across a program called "Miku Miku Dance," (MMD) some freeware used to anime 3D models, much like SFM. There's even a pretty good tutorial here on DE made by mrwhitefolks for the software. I wouldn't say MMD is as powerful as SFM, but one of the features it has that SFM doesnt is the ability to use different shaders that can give models a more "anime" look, as seen below: [center:3ciz9qnp] (image credit Japanstar)[/center:3ciz9qnp] I also discovered that there are nude models for MMD out there, but I haven't really looked into which of the models fit to DE rules (i.e. characters need to be of age). As some one who really likes "cartoony" models like TF2 and the likes, I'm pretty interested in creating poses with this alongside SFM; but my question is, how does the community feel about having "anime styled" poses? Is it something anyone else is interested in? I guess the first thing that comes to mind is, "well theres already so much hand-drawn hentai, why in the world would we need 3D models?" Does any one else wonder that? Does hand-drawn hentai seem to have the upper hand over a (well posed) 3D image? I get that most of this is all based on preference, but I have a feeling MMD could open up the community to more "cartoonish models," and so I was wondering about how all of us here at DE feel about it. I know that the cartoony models and the likes are not very popular on DE, and I'm okay with that, so that's why I wanted to hear the community's feedback and feelings about it before perusing this, with hopes of opening up more people to the idea of using cartoony models for poses.

Anime style CG is no different from any other type of CG. I invite anyone who wants to post that type of content, models and resources to do so. If there's enough interest, we could add a MMD subforum, as long as there's nothing that would conflict with the forum rules.(underage nudity etc.)

It would not mind seeing anime style art and models. It would be a nice change of what we currently have. I also love the clothing on anime models, which I love ripping from models and using it on Miranda Lawson :)

Anime style models would be lovely, I certainly don't have a problem with it.
