I'm also hoping Microsoft will come out and laugh at us for believing the bullshit about the Xbox One.

Stealth Clobber

GTA5 Forza Motorsport 5 Gran Turismo 6 Unfortunately, both of those latter games require a new console. *shakes fist*

They cancelled all their after show press events, so they're basically trying to avoid another media debacle. We can be positive that what we've heard about the Xbone is all true at this point.

I agree, would instabuy. A custom engine would probably be better for such a game. To my knowledge you can't properly do fluid simulation in the CryEngine.

I cannot wait til the day where people's own imaginations are the engines used for a game, and the game world is subconsciously built to your ever desire due to it being contained inside your head, like a dream, only you don't wake up when you realize what it is, and you remember it 100%. -God of War style game with guns where the enemies are politicians? Check -Physics Sandbox that combines pieces of Minecraft, Garry's Mod, Space Engine, Just Cause 2, Spore, Etc? Check -Out camping with a wo/man who, based on your brain chemistry, hits every piece of what you desire in a mate? Check -Etc? Check

The water looked rather good in it, but that is not the same I guess.

Still bodies of water are relatively easy and cheap to simulate. Waterfalls are a little bit harder, but they usually get away with it by using precomputed animations and particle effects. With full on fluid simulation, you have to take a lot of things into consideration, like stickiness, cohesion, the way the fluid particles respond to collisions and all that kind of stuff. To properly simulate bodily fluids, you need a lot more processing power than most systems can handle at this time. Maybe the next-gen will bring change to this. WE WILL FIND OUT TODAY!

But haven't they already created a media debacle surrounding the Xbox One? Wouldn't it be in their best interest to clear the air or at least pretend they give a rat's ass about the new console's already problematic public perception?

That's what I said. Avoid "another" debacle. The initial press conference left us with a lot of questions and in the days that followed, we got lots of conflicting and disturbing information from different Microsoft employees in several different interviews. They released a statement last week that pretty much addressed all of that, but at that point the damage was done. Their focus at right now is "Hey, look at all these games we have on our system" and avoid any potential questions about DRM and domestic spying or questions in general. Basically avoid any direct confrontation with the press.

Im looking forward to fallout 4, mirrors edge 2, destiny (with activision as the publisher their bound to fuck something up with the game), Grand Theft Auto V, Saints Row IV, and metal gear solid V. Oh, and the xbox one being a piece of shit and call of duty ghosts sucking total ass for being on a movie console, instead of a game console.
