Guys i need your help. Yesterday someone presented himself as a Steam support, with Steam icon. Asked me for second email, but i don't remember that so... He asked me to take down the guard... Later i try to log in to the account, but he password changed, and possible email... Good for that i changed quick password in email, where account was registered. Anyway... My account was hijacked, and this is first situation like this. Can you tell me guys, how long i must wait for respond from the Steam support, and what i need, to prooves that my account is stolen? I have still CD keys for games, what i buyed, but not sure this is enough? Please advice my guys, i have this account two years, and my first games are Alien Swarm and Dawn Of War 2. ;/

Heard of something similar before. Took a couple of days for Valve to sort it out. You just need to wait for them to respond to your mail.

I would think so. Should not be hard for Valve to figure this out. Just follow any instructions they send you.

However you should know, as Valve has explicitly stated in many e-mails and terms, that they would never ask you for that kind of information. Honestly, it's hard for me to gather sympathy for you. You gave him your recovery e-mail, and disabled Steam-Guard. Those two things didn't seem like a tip-off to you? You may as well have given him your password and log-in credentials. No individual will ever ask for your password, ever, for that kind of service. Literally never. I'm not sure Valve will even help you with this, as you basically just gave your account away.

No... I didin't give a password... I just thinked someone from support contacted me... ;/ I don't think, in weekend can respond... Let be clear. I didn't give a recovery email, because i forgot them, and i didin't give password. I only disable steam guard.

These situations are stressful, you need to be patient. When I contacted Steam support I was pretty happy with their response time. As for your situation I can't comment on your chances to recover, I've never had that problem.
