The recent Gmod update put me in a very bad position. While I know there are ways to rectify the problems I've been having that are posted on this very website, I simply don't have the patience anymore to fix things manually AGAIN just to get them to work. I just don't find it worth it anymore. I've barely had a presence on digitalero much recently as it is and even the quality of my poses I feel has gotten worse. It's not fun for me anymore. You may still see me here posting but I doubt I'll be making anymore poses, since I only care to use Gmod. Unless there was a major easy fix, I just simply don't care anymore. I'm only really posting this because I've been making poses for and have been active with Digitalero since the beginning (I even forget if I used different names, I think I used deathwing107 originally). Even before this, I was active in Sex Pose Central on facepunch before it got shut down. I'll still be around looking at all the new poses you guys are making, but I feel I'm pretty much done now actually producing content for this website. Edit: should have mentioned how much I STILL enjoy the site and have enjoyed this community for I think years now. Hence why I'm not leaving, just having much less of a presence and not making new content anymore.

I hear your gripe, the switch to Gmod 13 got me down, but thanks to this site, the transition was much easier. I had to rebuild all my spawn list, a bunch of stuff didn't work anymore, or where gone. This last update also require some work, luckily for me it wasn't as bad as the switch to 13. As for you getting worse at posing, id be surprised, usually the more you do something the better you get at it. The best is not to try and pose like other people, just try to get yourself better. Some things take more time, id say if you enjoy it, you should probably stick to it. So what if they don't look amazing, if you like them. Myself I mostly keep my poses to myself, because I think they could be better, but I might post some here eventually, the important part is that I enjoy the process. I delete a few I think could be better, and I move on, keep at it. Maybe all you need is a little break, or you could try another program. Glad you're sticking around, even if you stop posing, the company is what really matters :)

What recent problem with Gmod are you referring to? I thought the Legacy Addon issue was fixed. A shame if it's something else. You can always start over ala SFM.

The problem I had is they converted all source games to a new version of source, Garry's Mod included. Most of my maps have errors on them and models that were fine now have missing textures. There's been some fixes, but this happens so frequently and it takes so fucking long to get everything working again I don't find it worth my time anymore. Hell I STILL haven't managed to get the L4D models to work right even back when Gmod 13 was released.

I agree with you but my problem is it crashes as soon as go to do anything in a map. I am frankly done with the whole thing and SFM is nothing more then a shit storm. I follow the turtorials posted on here and never seem to get any of it to work.

Most common answer to crashing when you enter or move on a map is due to using so many addons. Decrease the number. I had that problem before, every addon I had was enabled till I disabled all then selected a few I wanted to use and it worked fine.

It's not even that cause I tried, it is the stupid Steampipe causing the problems.

This, indeed! I lost my fucking patience with Garry's dumbass updates for his mod. That's why I forced myself to learn SFM.

Think I am officially finally done with Gmod and SFM seeing as their both now showing errors, crashing, not working, and my anti virus has found multiple viruses in their folders. Since deleting them both and removing my computer seems to be running alot better. Yeah totally done with it all.

Gmod and SFM does not have viruses. It would be all over the community if they did. This makes no sense.

Your Anti Virus must be screwed to hell and back if you're finding viruses :P Where are you getting your addons/models from?

The latest stuff I got from facepunch or the workshops, right now going through re uploading all the additions and having my anti virus scan them and then going to reinstall SFM cause honestly tired of with every update on gmod something that was working isn't or them removing maps that I had a file saved on and was working on, when SFM has been alot smoother to work with but a steeper learning curve to it.
